Missiles Fired on Syrian Army Infrastructure in Latakia - Syrian TV (VIDEOS)
A technical manufacturing facility of the Syrian Army was one of the targets of a missile attack on the coastal city of Latakia Monday evening. One Syrian security source told Sputnik News many of the missiles were repelled by the country's air defense system.
"Syria's air defense systems have responded to an air attack in Latakia. Most likely there were drones and missiles involved," Sputnik News' source said. Syrian state media and Arabic TV channel Al Mayadeen reported that the attack came from the sea.
Syria journalist Leith Abou Fadel reports that some missiles hit parts of the city, and power outages were reported resulting from the blasts were reported by social media users. One of Fadel's sources in the Syrian Army says that the missiles were shot by armed drones and were not airstrikes.

MYSTERY TWIST IN MH17:
DUTCH prosecutors say the body of an Australian who perished on Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was found wearing an oxygen mask, raising questions about how much those on board knew about their fate when the plane plunged out of the sky above eastern Ukraine.
Prosecution spokesman Wim de Bruin says the passenger did not have the mask on his face, but its elastic strap was around his neck.
De Bruin says it is not known “how or when the mask got around the victim’s neck”.

When Stories Disappear: Israeli-made air-to-air missile may have downed MH17
A report on Malaysian Airlines MH17 air disaster in Ukraine last year by a group of old-hand aviation security experts maintains that the Boeing might have been downed by an Israeli Python air-to-air missile.
The report was leaked via the private LiveJournal account of Albert Naryshkin (aka albert_lex) late on Tuesday and has already been widely discussed by social media communities in Russia.
The authors of the investigative report have calculated the possible detonation initiation point of the missile that hit the passenger aircraft and approximate number and weight of strike elements, which in turn designated the type and presumed manufacturer of the weapon.
