Ratzinger Under Suspicion of Hereresy

28 kwietnia 1969 r. Paweł VI ogłosił utworzenie Międzynarodowej Komisji Teologicznej, organu, który miał być równoległy do Kongregacji Nauki Wiary.
Przy tej okazji poważny francuski magazyn Informations Catholiques Internationales (n. 336 - 15 maja 1969, s. 9) przedstawił historię i podał listę 30 teologów wybranych do Komisji ( poniżej w języku francuskim). Wśród nich tłumaczymy ten opis:
Joseph RATZINGER : niemiecki, lat 45, teologia dogmatyczna, ekumenizm; uprzednio podejrzany [o herezję] przez Święte Oficjum; członek Komisji Wiary i Ekumenizmu; wybitna praca we współpracy z Karl Rahner: Primacy and Episcopate .
Innymi teologami również podejrzanymi przez Święte Oficjum byli Yves Congar, Henri de Lubac, Karl Rahner i Hans Urs von Balthasar.

On 28 April 1969, Paul VI announced the foundation of the International Theological Commission, a organ intended to be parallel to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
On that occasion, the serious French magazine Informations Catholiques Internationales (n. 336 – May 15, 1969, p. 9), reported the story and gave the list of the 30 theologians chosen for the Commission (below in French). Among them, we translate this description:
Joseph RATZINGER: German, age 45, dogmatic theology, ecumenism; previously suspect [of heresy] by the Holy Office; member of the Faith and Ecumenism Commission; outstanding work in collaboration with Karl Rahner: Primacy and Episcopate.
Other theologians also under suspicion by the Holy Office were Yves Congar, Henri de Lubac, Karl Rahner, and Hans Urs von Balthasar.
