Below we present the statement of prof. John Mearsheimer on the situation in Ukraine. The commentary is part of a much longer interview (1 hour 20 minutes) on the King's Politics Channel, hosted by students of King's College, Cambridge. The interview was given on February 15, 2022, i.e. before the current conflict in Ukraine, and it clearly and factually shows that the black and white narrative served to us by the main media has nothing to do with reality. It also shows the KTO which side is the true provocateur and aggressor striving for international destabilization.
John J. Mearsheimer (born 1947) is an American political scientist, founder of the theory of offensive realism, since 1982 a lecturer in political science and a full professor at the University of Chicago. He graduated from the military academy at West Point, served in the US Army, and then in the US Air Force. He did his PhD at Cornell University, later collaborated with the Brookings Institute, and then lectured at Harvard University. He is the author of 6 significant books on international relations.
